Calculus for Students, by a Student
What is this Website?
As a calculus student, I often found that math teachers were terrible at contextualizing and explaining the real world applications of calculus and its process. Having years of experience as a tutor, I found that students often struggle to define what a derivative or integral was, and how they work. So, I made this site to help contextualize what calculus is, and why it works (such as the derivative and the integral).
The "Calculus Basics" page is about what calculus is, why it works, and defining the derivative and the integral.
I also have a page on the Chain Rule for differentiation, as I found that students often struggle with this technique during their introduction to calculus.
I have a page with various online math resources that I found the most useful for high school and college level calculus.
Lastly, this site is a work in progress and any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated! The space to leave comments is below.
